My name is Lydia and i suffer from depression and anxiety. I have decided to start this blog to help document the treatment i am about to start and to possibly understand my mental health a little better. I find writing helps me organise my thoughts, being dyslexic I know that doesn’t really fit. Any comments and likes are warmly welcomed as they make me feel a little bit less alone.

  1. It’s a long road but I think the key is to take it one small step at a time. Try to get out of bed and get dressed. Some days will be harder than others, not to worry. And do a little more everyday or whenever you feel you can push a little harder. Try to smile, even if you don’t mean it deep down. I know all this prob sounds silly but it helped and helps me still. One day at a time. You’re not alone and of course if you need to talk, just contact me. Love and hugs.
